The funny thing about messy buns is they usually take just as much time "perfecting" as if we had actually just done our hair. here is my quick fool proof perfectly messy top knot
1. I find its best to start with somewhat curled hair, straight hair doesn't work as well for me
2. Tie hair in a pony tail
3. Evenly disperse the hair
4. Back comb what will become the inside of the bun for added fullness
5. Begin to wrap the ends around the base of the pony tail
6. Pin as you go
